For example: Dining Lighting Techniques are different from Underwater Lighting Techniques… The kind of lights used in the Underwater Lighting system are different from that of the lights used in Dining Lighting and for specific purpose such as Task Lighting.
The material of the lights used for lighting varies for the type of ambiance it is supposed to create. The material of the underwater lights is different from the material of the other lights used for other purposes.
In this article we are going to discuss different types of Spotlights and situations where it is used.
Spotlights
- Spot lights are light sources that send out a cone of light. It is usually used in stage performances… A cone of light falls on the person on the stage and the movements of the person are tracked by the light.
- It has a defined conic volume, and is used to illuminate objects within this conical volume.
- Torches, desk lamps and theater lights are all examples of spot lights, but mostly spot lights are used in stage performances.
Types of Spotlights
Spotlights are classified on the basis of its functionality. Here are some of the spotlights that are commonly used for lighting purposes:
