Project: A Duplex of G+2 floors

I recently designed a duplex project. The requirements were simple.

On the Ground Floor

1. A multipurpose hall on the ground floor
2. Minimum two car parking spaces
3. A private covered swimming pool on the ground floor
4. Staircase and elevator for a capacity of 6 people

On First Floor

1. A large living room in the front with access to deck
2. Separate family room
3. Two bedrooms with attached baths
4. Kitchen, Washing, Store and Utility balcony

On Second Floor

1. A medium sized living room
2. Separate family room
3. Three bedrooms with attached baths
4. Kitchen, Washing, Store and Utility balcony

All rooms have good ventilation and natural light. Side margins were 6′ 6″ on the front, and 4′ on the remaining sides. The staircase is 4′ wide, along with an 6-person capacity elevator.

Family room on both floors have a separate access door if needed.

The builtup area of the house is 2175 square feet per floor.

The terrace floor above the second floor would be developed as terrace garden.
